Sightseeing in London

Hotel Carpark ours is the Blue Car Top Right
Today we awoke to find we had been blessed with no more snow. After rising late we went off to the local Sainsbury for Breakfast. Despite the snow everyone was trying to return to normal. you had to be careful in driving and would look to pick your place to park so you could move off again later. Took a few snaps which included a church and a couple of dogs out on their walk. After breakfast we thought we would drive to Hemel Hempstead station and chance a trip to the capital by train. After parking the car at the station four pounds thank you, we waited for a train even rail staff did not know if it would arrive or what platform. Luckily the monitors were correct and we were on a train to Euston Station. It was a bit stop start and slow but we got there. We immediately went to the underground to travel to the Embankment. Euston station was crowded with many travellers awaiting whether there train would depart I did wonder if we would get home but decided we would worry about that later.
We went off to the Eye across the Millennium Bridges, there was a  cold icy wind coming own the River Thames much colder than the minus 5  forecast. We purchased our tickets went through the 3 minute 4D experience first, then lined up for our 30 minute Eye ride.
After our  London Eye experience we walked across the Westminster Bridge to the houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey, I do believe it had got colder. We then set out to make our way to Buckingham Palace on the way stopping at a nice cafe for food. As it was late we got to Buckingham Palace after dark. With Nightfall it got colder so after seeing Buckingham Palace we sought the sanctuary of the Underground to make our way home. After having to pay 30p to use the toilet facilities at Euston we had an uneventful trip home. Our only hope is for no more Snow!
