Hi! Welcome to my photography blog.   In 2008 I bought my first digital SLR a Canon 1000D and then managed to get a Canon 20D secondhand. I am a Canon shooter. I am an amateur Photographer dreaming of one day going pro. Photography is my hobby and takes away the pressure of my daytime job. 
Like all hobbies this one can be costly and it is amazing all the gadgets and bits of gear you can accumulate. Does it help you take better photos? No not really but it sure makes you feel like a pro! I have become bit of a workshop junky and read many UK Photo mags, Photography blogsites, and numerous books. This blog is really a collection of stuff I have come across; my own work, and work from other photographers who continue to provide inspiration to me every day. And of course those gadgets you just gotta buy. Then comes the challenge of smuggling it in without the wife knowing. At times I will report on my travels with a photo or two.
