Aerial Photography.

(c) Yann Arthus-Bertrand

By popular request I am writing about aerial photography. Whilst it was suggested in jest I have seriously thought of this and have seen a 4wd driving around Warner that has a telescopic pole. This is a  franchise company called Top Snap they specialise in Real Estate photography. I have also seen some one in the area using a small blimp and I myself have considered going hot air ballooning. On of the most world's most renowned aerial photographer is Yann Arthus-Bertrand. Hailing from France he founded the Altitude Agency in 1991 which was the world's first press agency and images bank specialising in aerial photography. Yann has not done all the photography having employed up to 100 photographers. Yann's has over 500,000 images on his web site. He has used helicopters and hot air balloons and collected some amazing images. Yann is an inspiration and has also taken on the roll as an ecologist having set up goodplanet.org a  group to encourage sustainable development. Yann has also down some wonderful French Farmer portraits as well as animals of Africa. I am hoping to do some aerial photography whilst in Dubai from a Cessna as we fly over the Palm and World islands. Doubt they will be as fantastic as Yann's but will give it a go.
